ABOUT THE PATTERN

The Bracuhy top is a fun pattern with an interesting and delicate lace panel, worked in the round from the bottom up. The boxy and cropped fit makes this a great versatile and comfortable to wear piece that goes with any outfit.

Bracuhy is a neighbourhood and a marina in the city of Angra dos Reis, about a 2 hour car ride from Rio de Janeiro. Growing up, I used to go there with my best friend’s family on weekends and holidays. We spent the days in our bathing suits, playing pretend to be mermaids or pirates, jumping in the cold sea salt water and building castles in the sand.
