Paquetá Shawl
$ 10.00
The Paquetá Shawl is a collaboration with Miss Babs Yarns and it was inspired in a island in Rio de Janeiro called Paquetá. This small frozen-in-time-oasis is only reachable by ferry and the colonial architecture makes a beautiful contrast with the colorful nature of the place and, since all types of motor vehicles are not allowed on the island people move around on horses, wagons and bikes creating a fantastic bucolic atmosphere.
Worked top-down, the Paquetá shawl has a half-circle shape, divided in 3 sections consisting of: a squishy garter stitch body with eyelets, stripes combined with an airy lace stitch pattern, and the last section is a slightly ruffled, wavy edge.
This listing is for a knitting pattern PDF, available only in English as a digital download, it is not a finished item.
