3.25 mm (US 3) circular needle with cable long enough for magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge.

blocking tools of your preference, cable needle, scissors, stitch markers (optional), tapestry needle

7 st x 9 rows in 1 in (2.5 cm) in stockinette stitch
