NEEDLES
2.50mm (US 1½) circular needle with cable long enough for magic loop method, or size needed to obtain gauge.
2.75mm (US 2) circular needle with cable long enough for magic loop method, or one size up than needed to obtain gauge.
NOTIONS
blocking tools of your preference, scissors, scrap yarn,
stitch markers (one in contrast color for BOR), tapestry needle
GAUGE
8 sts x 12 rows in 2.5 cm (1”) in stockinette stitch
Central cable is 4 cm (1¾“) wide
Please bear in mind that the cable pattern does not stretch as much as stockinette stitch, so you may wish to consider going up a needle size or two on the gusset and heel section, specially if the wearer has a high instep.
