3.75 mm/US 5 circular needles with 80 cm/32 inches cable length and short cable length circular needles, double pointed needles, or preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round, or size needed to obtain gauge;

3.25 mm/US 3 short cable length circular needles, double pointed needles, or preferred method for knitting small circumferences in the round, or two sizes smaller than the size needed to obtain gauge.

GAUGE

25 stitches x 28 rounds in 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches after blocking in stockinette stitch in the round.

19 stitches x 48 rounds in 10 x 10 cm/4 x 4 inches after blocking in slip-stitch pattern in the round.

 

When counting your rounds in the slip-stitch pattern, please note that each CC purl bump equals one repeat, or 4 rounds.

 

It is very important swatching for both gauges.

Changes in gauge will affect your yardage requirements and your final measurements.
